Our standard shipping is via Priority USPS Ground. During holidays, sales periods, and in the case of inclement weather events shipping may take up to two weeks. We are a small, locally-owned brick & mortar shop and appreciate your patronage and patience.  Thank you SO much for shopping local and handmade!

NOTE: Due to COVID-19 shipping delays may occur.  We are doing our best to ship all orders in 1-3 business days, however we have heard from other businesses that USPS and UPS are experiencing delays in certain parts of the country.  We ask for your patience during this difficult time - if you need something by a specific date, please order early (we are also more than happy to discuss delivery options with you to ensure your package arrives in time).

  • Standard shipping anywhere in the USA: 
    • USPS first class, priority mail or UPS (depends on weight) 
    • $4 for orders under $75,
    • free for orders of $75+ (note: this is the order total AFTER any discounts)
  • Curbside store pickup:
    • FREE for orders of any value
    • After you place your order, you will receive an email from The COMMUNITY to arrange pickup time.  If you don't hear from us 24 hours after your order, check your junk mail folder. . and then email us at hello@communitychs.com
  • Charleston-Area Local Delivery:
    • FREE delivery to anywhere in Charleston, North Charleston, West Ashley, James Island, Johns Island, Folly, Mt. Pleasant, DI, IOP, and Sullivans.
    • After you place your order, you will receive an email from The COMMUNITY to arrange pickup time.  If you don't hear from us 24 hours after your order, check your junk mail folder. . and then email us at hello@communitychs.com
    • Note: Mother's Day Gift Delivery will be on Sat May 9th in the afternoon and Sunday May 10th in the morning.  Please select your delivery time here: Mother's Day Local Delivery

Returns

internet purchase return policy

We will accept returns on any unopened or unused items in their original packaging with your original receipt for a full refund, however due to the nature of our store returns must be initiated AND shipped within 5 days of receipt. 

Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded and we are unable to pay the cost of return shipping.

Note: custom orders are a final sale and can not be refunded.

To ensure the safe return of your items, please send packages with an insured courier (i.e. fedex, ups, usps) and obtain tracking information.  Packages should be shipped to the following address:

problems with orders

If you receive a defective or incorrect Product, please contact us immediately at hello@communitychs.com with your order number and a description of the problem.

gift exchanges

Gift purchases can be exchanged for other items in our shop and/or for store credit. Unused gift items may be returned to our brick & mortar shop, or may be mailed back to the address listed above. Unfortunately we cannot issue cash refunds for gift purchases.
